CME member firms may elect to clear their OneChicago trades either at CME or at the Options Clearing Corporation (OCC.) Firms that choose to clear at CME must nevertheless handle any deliveries in OneChicago products through a member of OCC, and must execute a legal agreement called a Designation of Appointed Clearing Member with that OCC member. This advisory provides detailed information about this agreement.
